The Old Bens Sports Club inaugurated in 1958 is an affiliated body of the Old Boys Union of St. Benedict’s College, Colombo 13, Sri Lanka, the Patron being the Provincial Visitor who is the Head of the Christian brothers education Missionary of the De La Salle Brothers & the Rev Bro. Director of St. Benedict’s  College , being the Ex officio Director of the Club. The Club had been formed with the prime object of encouraging sportsmen leaving college to continue sports by taking part in all major club tournaments in  Cricket, Soccer, Hockey, Basketball, Athletics, Table Tennis & Billiards.
